About Rotary Club of Truckee
The Rotary Club of Truckee was chartered on February 14, 1978. Our club has nearly 100 members that are active, share a compelling sense of duty to the Truckee community, and promote a high level of camaraderie. Each club member is involved in volunteering personal time and services to improve our great town of Truckee, and works hard to raise funds that the club contributes to local, national, and international charities, truly adhering to the Club's motto of "Service Above Self."
Use of Funds
100% of our net proceeds from the Cadillac Ball go to charities in our community and international Rotary projects. The proceeds from last year's Cadillac Ball funded 36 different groups in the areas of children service, environmental improvements, Truckee town projects and events, and people in need. Additionally, we not only contribute locally but also internationally through distribution of funds directed toward international Rotary projects designed to expand Rotary's humanitarian reach around the globe.
